"...Lord, it is nothing with Thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power; help us, O Lord our God, for we rest on Thee, and in Thy name we go against this multitude. O Lord, Thou art our God; let not man prevail against Thee."
My name in Hebrew means "the father is joyful", or more loosely, "source of joy". It is my prayer that I would live up to this name in two ways: that God would ever be my Source of joy (Psalm 73:25), and that I would in turn be a source of joy to Him (Isaiah 43:7) and to all those around me (Psalm 119:74) as He, the Giver, lives through me.
"I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth; my flesh also shall rest in hope.
Thou wilt show me the path of life; in Thy presence is fulness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore."
